The Institute for Sustainable Development (ISD), in partnership with Adler Management, proudly launches a new initiative dedicated to empowering young people from the Polog region — with a focus on Tetovo and surrounding areas — to gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to thrive in today’s dynamic labor market.
This Professional Development Program is part of ISD’s broader mission to promote sustainable growth and a knowledge-based economy in North Macedonia. Through innovative training modules, practical learning experiences, and cross-sector collaboration, the program aims to shape a new generation of highly qualified professionals ready to contribute to the country’s social and economic progress.
Particular attention is devoted to strengthening skills in the medical and social care sectors — including physiotherapy, nursing, and occupational therapy — where demand for qualified staff is rising rapidly. By supporting education and employability in these vital areas, the program not only opens real career opportunities for young people but also helps improve the quality of essential services in local communities.
The program also includes specialization and “Ausbildung” opportunities in the Berlin-Brandenburg region, where participants can further pursue their right to employment and gain valuable international experience within a structured, high-standard professional environment.
Beyond its contribution to the education process, ISD will also play a key role in facilitating the registration process, guiding applicants through the application procedures, and providing logistical support to ensure a smooth and accessible experience for all candidates.
“At ISD, we believe that investing in youth means investing in the future. By empowering young people with skills, guidance and opportunity, we help them become the driving force of tomorrow’s sustainable and inclusive development.”
Through this joint effort, Institute for Sustainable Development (ISD) and Adler Management are establishing a forward-looking model of development — one where youth empowerment, professional excellence and societal wellbeing go hand in hand.
This initiative marks a tangible step toward connecting education with the labor market, advancing sustainable development and ensuring that the talent of young people becomes the driving force of North Macedonia’s future.
